For almost a year, a mother and her daughter searched for something many of us take for granted: a safe, stable place to call home.
Without housing stability, everything else becomes harder. Finding work. Focusing on school. Planning for the future. Instead of moving forward, each day can become consumed by one basic question: Where will we sleep tonight?
For this family, our Shelter Diversion Program helped change that.

Her daughter, who had been connected with Cincinnati Public Schools’ Project Connect, could prepare for the coming school year with greater confidence and hope for improved school attendance.
