Coordinated Entry is the process by which people experiencing homelessness are given access to housing and assistance based on their level of need and resources available in Greater Cincinnati. By coordinating the needs of the community with available resources, we are able to move people experiencing homelessness quickly and efficiently through the Continuum of Care. In Greater Cincinnati, our Coordinated Entry system reduces the number of people entering into homelessness by offering prevention and diversion resources.
At Strategies to End Homelessness, our Coordinated Entry Specialists match individuals and families to appropriate programs and resources as space becomes available. The agencies receiving referrals work to assist clients in obtaining permanent housing as quickly as possible, beginning the journey back to self-sufficiency.
