About our Partnership with the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County
Inspired by the premiere of the public, a movie shot at the Main Library, the Library reached out to Strategies to End Homelessness. Through this series, we aim to bring awareness to homelessness in Cincinnati. Starring, written, and directed by Emilio Estevez, the movie centers on a public library, which becomes a temporary shelter for the homeless during a brutal winter cold spell. The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is heavily featured throughout the film. Also starring Alec Baldwin, Christian Slater, Jenna Malone, Taylor Schilling and Gabrielle Union.
Past events have included focuses on Family Homelessness and Youth Homelessness.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. For more information about the partnership between the Library and Strategies to End Homelesss, call 513-369-6900 or visit www.CincinnatiLibrary.org.
