Description/Special Instructions: This two-hour presentation discusses the dynamics of domestic violence and stalking, two pervasive forms of abuse that affect millions annually. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the patterns, warning signs, and psychological impacts of these behaviors on individuals and communities. The session will highlight the role of power and control in abusive relationships and explore the unique challenges faced by survivors of stalking. Practical tools for recognizing and responding to these forms of violence will be shared, alongside strategies for supporting survivors in accessing safety and resources. Additionally, attendees will learn about the services provided by Women Helping Women, including advocacy, safety planning, and prevention education. This presentation is ideal for anyone seeking to deepen their knowledge, provide compassionate support, and contribute to a culture of safety and respect.
