Description/Special Instructions: This two-hour presentation explores the complexities of gender-based violence (GBV) and highlights the critical role of prevention, support, and advocacy in addressing this pervasive issue. Participants will gain an understanding of the forms and impacts of GBV, including generalized information about domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. The session will emphasize the importance of fostering safe and equitable communities while introducing the comprehensive services provided by Women Helping Women. Attendees will learn about prevention programming, survivor-centered support, and community resources that empower individuals and promote healing.
