Description/Special Instructions: DV 101 is a foundational training to introduce concepts surrounding domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and power and control tactics used by individuals who perpetrate violence. Participants will be able to understand the difference between the interchangeable terms of domestic violence and intimate partner violence, identify red flag behaviors outlined in the power and control wheel, as well as advocate for and implement a trauma-informed system approach to partnering with survivors and their children who’ve experienced domestic violence. Hosted by YWCA.
This training offers 1 Social Work CEU. Please include your License Number in registration if you need a CEU certificate or reach out to kwrightsman@end-homelessness.org with questions.
