Coordinated Entry is a streamlined system that provides quick access to individuals and families seeking assistance through a coordinated referral and housing placement process. The VI-SPDAT is the current assessment tool we use to prioritize assistance to the most vulnerable households. Cincinnati CoC providers have come together over the past 7 months to develop a new Coordinated Entry tool that is more equitable and trauma informed than the VI-SPDAT. Now, we are asking for community feedback on the draft, to help us fine tune it even more and understand where we might be missing important factors related to vulnerability. This tool is what our community will use to identify appropriate housing interventions for every household that experiences homelessness in Cincinnati, so it is paramount that the tool is usable, accurate, and equitable. Please join us!
