Description/Special Instructions: This two-hour presentation equips participants with the knowledge and tools to safely and effectively intervene in situations of harm, harassment, or violence. Through the lens of bystander intervention, attendees will learn how to recognize red flags, assess situations, and take action to prevent or interrupt harm while prioritizing safety. The session introduces proven intervention strategies such as the Direct, Distract, Delegate method and emphasizes the importance of community accountability. Interactive scenarios and discussions will help participants build confidence in responding to real-life situations involving bullying, harassment, dating violence, or other forms of harm. Participants will also learn about resources and support available through Women Helping Women, ensuring they are prepared to advocate for safer, healthier communities.
